Welcome to the Western Hills Toy Library in Maungaraki!
Our toys are guaranteed to delight and entertain children from newborn to five years (and over!). We offer a huge range of toys for hire starting as little as 50 cents a fortnight.
Play is an important part of a child's first steps towards their education and development. Our range of safe, educational, and fun toys and resources are carefully chosen to inspire and promote creative and active play.

Our toy collection is regularly updated with new toys including puzzles, games, Duplo, activity centres, Lego, train sets, electronic toys, ride-ons, role play sets, dress-up costumes, and more.

Bouncy Castle Hire

Our new bouncy castle will provide hours of entertainment at your next party. It is colourful, compact (easily fits inside halls etc) and easy to use. It comes with an electric pump and inflates in seconds. It also comes with safety mats - adult supervision required. Full weekend hire for Members: $60 Hire for non-members: $100 |
Table and Chair Hire

Foldable tables and colourful chairs are perfect for any party. They are very portable and easy to clean.
Hire: $10 per set (1 table with 4-6 chairs), two sets for $15, or all three sets for $25.00. |
Party toys

For our members we have a range of larger toys suitable for keeping children entertained at parties. These include our roller coaster, ride on coupes, mini slides, and other fun items. |

The Toy Library needs your help!
We are a non-profit organisation run by a voluntary committee, with support from our members and their families. We are always in need of new committee members. New committee members provide new ideas and a fresh view of what can be improved. Come and join our fun group and help your local toy library stay fresh and new.
